Passengers stay on Dhaka-Mymensingh highway for hours

Onlie Desk:Traffic has been disrupted on the Dhaka-Mymensingh highway’s Gazipur since Thursday morning as rainwater accumulated small and large holes on the highway.
Commuters are staying on the road for hours. The same condition of the highway was seen in the previous two days.
Huge vehicle queues are on the Dhaka-bound and Mymensingh-bound lanes of Station Road from Tongi’s Boro Bari.
Gazipur Metropolitan traffic police members are trying to ease the traffic.
The congestion has started since Tuesday due to incessant rainfall caused by cyclone Sitrang.
