Online Desk: In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa of Pakistan, at least six police personnel were killed in an attack on police mobile van in district Lakki Marwat on Wednesday (November 16).
State-run Radio Pakistan has reported that six police personnel, including an assistant sub-inspector and the driver, have been killed in what it described as a terror attack.
The incident took place when the Police were conducting a routine patrol in the area.
Dead bodies have been shifted to a nearby hospital, while police have started search operation in the area.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan has strongly condemned the tragic incident.
Chief Minister Mahmood Khan said such cowardly acts cannot bring down morale of our security forces.
He said the provincial government will not leave the bereaved families alone in this difficult time.
Taking notice of the incident, Chief Minister Mahmood Khan sought report of the attack on police van.
Mahmood Khan conveyed his condolences to the bereaved families. He prayed for eternal peace of the martyred souls and patience for their families.
