Online Desk: Organization of Islamic Countries (OIC) Secretary General Hussein Brahim Taha on Saturday arrived in Dhaka on a five-day visit to Bangladesh.
During the visit, the OIC Secretary General will pay courtesy calls on Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen, BSS reported quoting a foreign ministry press release.
As the Chancellor of the Islamic University of Technology (IUT), the OIC Secretary General will join the 35th Convocation of the IUT to be held on May 30. Taha will also visit the Rohingya camps in Cox’s Bazar during his visit.
Upon his arrival, Foreign Ministry’s Director General (International Organizations) Wahida Ahmed and Vice-Chancellor of IUT Dr Mohammad Rafiqul Islam welcomed the Secretary General at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka. Source: BSS
