Online Desk: All the primary schools across the country will run educational activities in single shift, which will come into effect from January next year (2023).
Aminul Islam, Secretary of the Primary and Mass Education Ministry, made the disclosure in a press briefing at the Secretariat on Sunday (October 30).
He said, “We are planning to bring all the primary schools of the country under single shift system. We hope we will be able to implement this from January next year.
Efforts will be made to start and end schools at the same time throughout the country, he added.
He said, “Taking into consideration the number of classrooms, teachers and students, one shift will be introduced in all government primary schools.”
Mentionable, as two shifts were running in some schools, there was anger among the teachers of one shift. They were demanding a shift.
