Online Desk: Thousands of hundreds of people flocked to the entire area of ​​the Savar National Martyrs’ Monument immediately after dawn. The altar of the memorial is filled with flowers of humble respect and love for the martyrs of the Great Liberation War of 1971.

President M Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina paid tributes with floral wreaths at the National Martyrs’ Monument at around 6:30 am on Friday.

After that, people of all ages, different classes and professions, regardless of men and women, paid tributes with wreaths to the altar. They expressed their respect, love and passion for the martyrs.

Besides, politicians, diplomats, social workers, public and private employees, artists-intellectuals, Freedom Fighters, professionals, workers and students came to pay their respects. In this, the altar is covered with a wreath of flowers.

The Speaker of the National Parliament (Jatiya Sangsad), the opposition party of the Parliament, Cabinet members, members of Parliament, judges, chiefs of the three armed forces, and foreign diplomats assigned to Bangladesh also paid tribute by placing flowers at the altar.

Meanwhile, many people have come to offer flowers in different colors since morning. Many people of other classes, including the youths, were seen taking selfies on mobile phones, alone, in pairs, or in groups, leaving the monument behind.

Meanwhile, the movement of vehicles and commuters was stopped on the Dhaka-Aricha highway before Fajr prayers due to VVIP traffic. The traffic on the highway was normalized after the President and Prime Minister left the memorial.
